Ferenc Csihalek has worked for the reknown Zsolnay manufactury in Pécs and has been the main force behind the invention of the famous "eozin" lustreglaze. After 1906 he and his brother founded their own ceramic manufactory in Baja, Hungary. The refined form and rich blue-purple glaze is a testament to Csihalek's genious and groundbreaking vision in lustreglazed ceramics at the turn of the century. This piece has an attribution mark,
