Thickly-potted. Hand-painted with alternating hatching and fronds around the rim.
Deep well with jardiniere overflowing with flowers at center
17th and early 18th centuries: This was the peak period for French faience production and the widespread use of a manganese-brown glaze, or faience brune, on the back of plates.

CONDITION: Fine hairline (not structural) from rim to center of well. Rubbed glaze around the outer rim. Some kiln grit seen in glaze. Underside is
