The pot has a Southwestern or Western design, … Read more Vintage earthenware bean pot or stoneware crock, dating to about the 1940s. The pot has a Southwestern or Western design, with raised geometric patterns. It has two handles and a lid with a small knob on top. The glaze is unusual--a yellowish brown color with darker brown flecks, like old fashioned mustard. The designs and knobs have cold painting in a gray-blue color. As is typical, much of it has rubbed off, but there's still quite a bit remaining on the sides. The bottom of this cooking pot is impressed with USA (barely readable). This may have been made by Monmouth or McCoy, but is unsigned.

The pot is in very good condition with no cracks and one chipped area on the lid, mostly on the underside. See less
