Claude Monet, whom he met in 1862 during joint stays in Honfleur, recognized his debt to Jongkind: “it is to him that I owe the definitive education of my eye”. Good condition, slightly faded paper, small tear at the top center left and small perforation at the top right (see the last two photos) This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
