  • "Aaron M.: Hi! I have looked at the camera a little closer. The shutter seems quite sticky/stiff. The focus knob moves smoothly. The film compartment opens and closes fairly easily. The lens really just looks dirty, the whole camera is dirty and worn on the outside. There is a professional camera store nearby. I could have them take a quick look to see if they think it's salvageable...we really can't make any guarantees tho. Let me know if you'd like the camera store to take a quick look. Thanks!"

  • "Do you know if the shutter fires at all speeds? Does the lens retract and expands smoothly? Is the focusing smooth? Does the film compartment open and close properly? Are you sure that the lens has fog and not fungus? Hard to tell from image? Trying to get a gauge if it can be repaired and approx. cost of repairs based on current issues. Thanks"

  • "Axel M.: We are selling this item as-is, so it will be up to the new owner if they want to refurbish the camera."

  • "Relique: Thanks for checking and getting back with me that quickly! The fog might just be on the front element. I wouldn't try to clean it since it can easily scratch the surface. Your local vintage camera store might be able to do a thorough inspection. Would you be open to running it by a camera store?"

  • "Axel M.: Hi Axel. We have posted some additional photos for your reference. The lens appears to have some fog. Uncertain about the precision of the focus without actually taking some photos. Hope this helps! Relique"

  • "Hi! While this would make a great display item, I wonder if it could also be brought back into service. If the focusing still works and the lens is fairly clear, it should be good to go! Any chance you could check this for me? Thanks!!"
