This lovely watercolor painting on Arches paper features a landscape view in Provence. This typical Mediterranean country house in the south of France has a veranda and the Saint Victoire Mountain in the background (near Aix-en-Provence). The academic design by Francois Pascal (France - ?-1948) is signed on the bottom left corner, with a signature that includes an anchor.
The painting was recently re-framed with an elegant white and gilded striped wood frame with fresh orange matte and acrylic glass protection.
