This stylish 1950s Italian decorative lidded box has an Empire-revival flair. The tall rectangular shape boasts a classic modernist design, with gilded brass metal framing over a wood body wrapped with dark cognac brown leather. The quality interior is in varnished wood. The box has a mark on the underside with a "Made in Italy" sticker. There is no other maker's mark.
The box is in good condition, with minor wear on the metal, but it does not significantly affect the overall appearance. Check close-up views.
