This beautiful modernist silver plate decorative box was crafted in France for the renowned Christian Dior House for his Home Collection. The piece features an elegant minimalist round shape with a lid ornate with a large quartz stone as the finial. The natural form of the gemstone, which represents a beautiful specimen, offers tones of tobacco and storm cloud gray. The box is stamped on the underside "Christian Dior - Made in France" with legal silversmith hallmarks.
The box is in good condition, with minor wear to the metal, especially a bump on the underside. Check the picture with the black arrow. Some usual minor micro-scratches resulting from typical use are also visible on the metal, but they do not significantly affect the overall appearance.
