Mid-Century Modern astrological armillary table lamp designed by Chicago based artist Frederick Cooper in the 1950’s. This beautiful item is cast in bronze, features delicate brass details, and a wood base that is representative of the quality designs and inventive minds of Cooper. With an age-appropriate greenish patina, the central loop displays roman symbols on the outer side and numbers on the inside while the base features additional astrological signs. YT/LL
Measurements: Total height is 36” with shade* Width 18”* From wood base to the bottom of socket 22.5” * Arrow is 18” long * Globe is 11.5” diameter * Base is 9” diameter * Shade total height 15” Width 19” (inside shade has 2 tears on inner shade lining does not affect the lamp functions and are not visible).
