It is … Read more This is a Absolutely Beautiful, Unusual & Very Fine Quality Antique Desk Top Paperweight. Circa Early 20th Century. It is Rendered in Figurative Miniature Version of a Garden Sundial. The Top Perimeter of the Sundial is Embossed with an Assortment of Ancient Symbols Some of Which You Might Recognize - Mounted atop a Classic Doric Rendition Fluted Column. The Graduated Step Design Base is Beautifully Hand Made Out of Genuine Carved & Polished Nephrite Jade. It has No Maker, Silver or Other Markings that I Can Find. Origin Most Likely Continental European - My Guess Possibly Austrian ?. It has Been Professionally Tested and is Absolutely Guaranteed to be Sterling Silver. Overall Condition is Very Good and it Displays Beautifully. It is Lightly Tarnished.
Imperfections Noted - 1 Corner on the Sundial has Minor Damage and The Jade Base has a Small Chip on the 1 Bottom - Underside Corner.
It Measures Overall Approx 4 3/4 x (Base) 2 1/2 inches Wide - Long.
