A handsome antique vanity mirror with a harp walnut frame and a demilune pedestal base. The frame supports a rectangular pivoting antiqued mirror and stands on four black metal feet. This piece has a gorgeous patina and features excellent craftsmanship, as evidenced by the wood joinery on the back of the mirror. Unmarked. Sourced in Italy, 19th Century.
Great vintage condition. A beautiful patina to the walnut frame, which includes marks, indentations, areas of discoloration and significant pinholes, which are concentrated on the right harp detail and back of the frame. A break to the right harp was repaired and can be seen in photographs. Antiquing to the mirror. The base was professionally reinforced with concrete to stabilize the piece.
