Vintage; C.1970's Mid-Century Modern, French Maison Charles x-base cross legged, chrome plated over solid steel bench or stool, with a … Read more Vintage; C.1970's Mid-Century Modern, French Maison Charles x-base cross legged, chrome plated over solid steel bench or stool, with a double layer, woven and stitched Donghia Textile raphia seat. The frame has slight curved ends to the feet and top ends. Can easily be folded to carry, but yet again quite a solid and heavy. This is not for outdoor use, or for a splendor in the grass picnic, but for an interior with a Boho Chic vibe, eclectic, transitional and universally transcends within many stylistic periods of interior design. This bench has a superior quality of manufacture, with triple chrome-plated layers over the steel frame. On each end to center crossbar there are round buttons, or caps, whereupon one can loosen or tighten given the desired tension needed. From a Palm Beach, Florida Intracoastal Estate, with 3 generations of one family's Vintages. Has a quasi Safari-style look and feel, but Hollywood Regency, with a Modernist look and feel of an Egyptian Revival manner, uniquely strong, capable to hold, all body types and sizes, without any deterrence. We tested it.

Interior Seat Width and Depth Indicates the Actual Raffia Width and Depth, which is double layered, and stitched, with looped ends, in which the bars on apposing ends, are looped thru. The looped bars can also be taken off, if one wanted to re-upolster the bench in their desired textile, or for any future textile replacement.
