Richard Russell Benda was a well respected American artist (1934 - 2016) who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Chicago. He earned his living as a prolific artist, gathering numerous prestigious awards for his exceptional, bold, creative talent and sense of style. His passion was painting. This mixed media serene piece in greens, grays and gold from 1971 is typical of his unique style.
