A substantial watercolor on Arches paper showing a view of picturesque, clay-tiled homes overlooking a lone fisherman keeping vigil on a sandy beach.
Signed lower right "Stan Cohen" (American, 1925-2014) and painted in 2007. Accompanied by Oakland Artist's Association exhibition label and inscribed verso "Pacific Riviera."
This notable California artist exhibited widely and with success and was a member of both the Oakland Art Association and the California Art Education Association.
