Large scale gilt mirror with acanthus leaf design from the Dauphine Harrison & Gil collection which later became named Christopher Guy Harrison.
From the 1990s. Hollywood Regency, 20th Century. Model #E689-002.
Mirrors of this size are extremely hard to come by and would make a great focal point in a large home or hotel. This mirror has the original label on the back originating from Baton Rouge Louisiana.
The mirror has a nice gilt patina surface and is in very good condition. 2 tips of the acanthus leaves are missing and there is some areas of loss to the gilt. The overall statement this beautiful piece makes, greatly overlooks its slight imperfections.
