Upsala-Ekeby was a ceramics and glass industry founded in 1886 in Ekeby, Uppsala, Sweden. The mill was formed to produce bricks, tiles and earthenware. From 1917 to 1970, Upsala-Ekeby was Scandinavia's largest tile factory, with the production of tiled stoves and tiles as the mill's major products. Production at Ekeby Bruk was gradually discontinued during the 1970s and finally in 1977.

In the early days, busts and urns were made of terracotta alongside bricks and tiled stoves, but after a while, pots, vases and dishes were also included in production.

The production of household and art ceramics became successful over time and Upsala-Ekeby had a number of skilled designers and ceramists who further increased the popularity and status of the production. Very good condition. Numbered and marked at the bottom. This piece has an attribution mark,
