Vintage Imported Tibetan Zen Temple Brass Protection Buddha Statue
This beautiful heavily detailed gilt brass Tibetan buddha sits approx 24" inches high, was acquired from an Asia Vintage collector's private estate auction.
The piece is in near perfect condition was said to be purchased overseas from an Asian shipped the US after a visit in the early 1970s.
Abhaya Mudra – You must have seen the raised right hand and palm facing out, while the left hand down and also facing out. This posture of Buddha statue represent peaceful intentions and fearlessness. It also symbolizes the sense of strong inner security and the energy of protection.
