Large Incised Centerpiece Bowl by Bruno Gambone. Italy, 1970s
The piece is signed under the base "Gambone Italy" and remains in very good condition. Patina and wear consistent with age and use.
Bruno Gambone, born in 1936, hails from a lineage steeped in artistic excellence. His father, Guido Gambone (1909-1969), was a celebrated ceramic artist of the 20th century. Following Guido's passing in 1969, Bruno embraced the family legacy, returning to Florence to pursue the art of ceramics, eventually garnering accolades for his remarkable craftsmanship.
