French jar sarreguemines manufactory, early 20th century. Earthenware. Brand: "sarreguemines" imprinted; “venice” in gold. Height 29.5 cm. Conservation: excellent. The vase is painted in the manner of 15th century venetian glass and shows the half-busts of 3 popes: honorius ii, gregory vi, anastasius iv. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
