Just the right black … Read more Fantastic curvilinear 2-door chest with dynamic brass and gilt stencil detail made by Mastercraft, c. 1970s. Just the right black accent to elevate any space--be it entry, living room, office -or- bar. This is chic, compact and visually impactful. The curved leather top makes this unusual--and extra desirable. Note how even the back of the piece is beautifully detailed and finished. Chinese style brass hardware. Curved brass strip detail and small inset hinges. Interior also lacquered black...comes with an adjustable shelf. Gilt stencil lines on leather top. Minor wear for age--some small nicks to brass strip above left door...some scratches to lacquer finish and leather top...some worn gilt stenciling. The front of the piece does not have brass detail on the base-only the sides do-but this does appear original to the design. Entler lamp & pottery bowl not included :) See less

I did not try to remove them but they aren't especially noticeable. I believe you could buff them out. less
