A fine carved shell cameo brooch in a 10K gold bezel. The Antique cameo dates from the Victorian Period and depicts the profile of a Neoclassical female. There has been a swivel bale added to the piece so that it can be worn as a pendant. It appears that the clasp has been reinforced. The Condition of the shell cameo itself is excellent. It tests 10K, there are no marks. Circa: 1900. Dimensions: Height: 2", Height with bale: 2 1/4", Width: 1 3/4", Depth; 1/2", Weight: 15.3 grams.
