The andiron are of classical form but are detailed with an unusual Corinthian Column capitol located just below the the finial. Both andirons are in overall very good condition. The iron log supports have been restored and the brass finial and swivel are no longer present. There is a brass hook in the front of the andirons which would have held a brass rod. We have had the andirons professionally polished and left unlacquered. See less
