Hugo Zapata's ESCRITURAS artist's book is an edition of the ARTE DOS GRÁFICO Workshop in Bogotá, Colombia. This is No. 65 of the edition of 100 bilingual (Spanish and English) copies numbered in Arabic numerals. It contains sixteen original serigraph graphic works by the master Colombian artist as well as a poem by the writer William Ospina. The engraving, lithography, silkscreen, typography and binding were all completed at the workshop of Arte Dos Gráfico. The book's format is 30x40 cm, and the paper used is from Canson House in France. The printing and binding was completed on a September night in 2008, "illuminated by a great meteor shower that reminded us of our origin in the cosmos."
