I recently acquired an outstanding collection of photography that comes from the corporate collection of an large and important United States bank. The particular location of the bank was sold and the collection of art went to auction. Some truly wonderful works all archival framed and ready to hang. I am offering quite a few of them in the coming weeks. This is one of a few works by Donna Ruskin I am offering. All wonderful views. For those not familiar with the artist I have included her biography below. This is a wonderful gelatin silver photograph of one of those convex driveway mirrors looking at the curved road. Excellent black and white image measuring 18 x 18 inches. Archival matte. Beautiful wood frame ready to hang with just a few nicks. Frame measures 30 1/2 x 28 1/2 inches. This photograph comes with the original lucite label that hung on the wall below the photograph. If you like these photographs, check my store for the others I am offering. All in the same frames so a presentation of more than one would really be beautiful.

For those not familiar with the photographer her biography from her website reads: "Donna Ruskin is a Connecticut-based interdisciplinary artist, with a focus in photography. Her work has been widely exhibited in museums and galleries in the United States and abroad and is featured in numerous publications including The Dog In Photography 1989-Today, Taschen 2018, A Thousand Hounds, 2000 Taschen, Zoom International, and SHOTS Magazine, among others. Her photographs are held in many permanent collections including Hewlett Packard, Musee de la Photographie (Belgium), Museet for Fotokunst (Denmark), Museum of the City of New York, National Association of Security Dealers, and Saint Barnabas Medical Center (New Jersey). She is the recipient of a NYFA Strategic Opportunity Stipend for her exhibition at “Art Wall on Third” in the Mid-Manhattan Library and a Director’s Fellowship for the Creative Practices Certificate Program at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York City. Donna was a long-time Arts Administrator in the Education Department at ICP until 2016. She credits the many courses she took advantage of during her tenure as being an important part of her photographic education along with her studies at the School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design. In 2020 she decided to return to ICP, not as an employee but as a full-time certificate student in the Creative Practices Program which she graduated from in 2021 all done virtually via zoom.
