This is a great piece. I recently acquire a bunch of work out of a corporate collection that had shut a couple of their offices. You can see some of the other photographs and paintings I am selling that come out of that collection. I bought this painting without knowing who the artist was. The other one by the same artist is signed on the back but this one doesnt seem to be signed anywhere. I am guessing it is signed below the frame in the lower end but not 100% sure. For those not familiar with the artist I have included her biography below. This is really a wonderful oil on wood contemporary painting. Really a very cool image with the branches of the tree being dotted with people, homes, gifts, food and other items associated with life. Just a great imagery. Painting measures 30 1/4 x 25 1/4 inches. Original gallery frame is complimentary and ready to hang with just a few small nicks. Frame measures 33 1/4 x 28 1/4 inches. Do your own research on the artist. Really a wonderful work.

For those not familiar with the artist, her biography from a Provincetown Art Gallery reads: "With a BFA from Pratt Institute Judy Blotnick had no choice but to become a fashion designer for 20+ years (so she could eat) before realizing that she really just wanted to make art ABOUT women’s voices, the fashion world and consumerism. She wound up at Boston's School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University where she now teaches, what else.... a course about art and the business of fashion. A native New Yorker, she happily lives in Boston where she indulges her other passions: drumming, improv and Ticonderoga pencils. See less
