This is a great piece. This is one of two original Piot Brehmer paintings I recently acquired and am offering in my store. I recently acquired these paintings from the estate of important Florida architect Robert Eigelberger. I am not sure where he acquired them but they were both offered at an auction at Palm Beach Modern back in 2013. I am guessing these have been in his collection since then. For those not familiar with the artist the brief biography I found is in included below. This is a wonderful oil on canvas measuring 11 x 13 1/2 inches. Overall in excellent condition. There are a few minor marks from the painting rubbing against something but no paint loss. These can only be seen at a certain angle. Otherwise really as painted condition. Painting is unframed. On the back of the canvas the painting is signed by the artist as well as dated and given a number title. Really just an outstanding original work by this great German Contemporary Realist painter. If you like or collect the artist, check my store for the other example I am offering.
For those not familiar with the artist his biography reads: "Born in 1965, he studied painting at the Karsruhe and Dusseldorf academies with Prof Markus Lupertz. His works are in the permanent collections of quite a few German Museums. He continues to work near Wurzburg Germany"
