Elegant and captivating, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Kashan area rug features an all-over geometric pattern composed of repeating quatrefoil and trefoil motifs in alternating colors forming a lozenge trellis pattern. It is enclosed with a complementary quatrefoil and trefoil border flanked with an inner and outer guard border and subsidiary guard bands. Reminiscing an Islamic Quatrefoil Tile Art Work design and Swedish Cottage Gustavian style, this vintage Persian rug emanates grace and style.
