Jean -Claude Bissery born in 1930 was a painter and cartonier in Aubusson where he design a numerous of tapestries for factories like Robert Four in 1960-1970 , here we present one that is titled Forestiere , ( forest in english ) that present a lovely stylized landscape with trees and multiple birds interacting with each other , a mix between abstract and realism here is quite well done , the use of strong and period typical colors also intensify the style of the tapestry .The piece is signed on the lower right corner and an original label with the hand signature of the artist is still visible , this piece is number 30 of a limited edition on 100 hundred.These tapestries are just magic in a period decor or in a contemporary decor . size is convenient 42H on 70 W.
