The House of Heydenryk produced some of the world's finest frames for more than a century. Heydenryk produced both original modern frames and period reproductions for artists such as Dali, Picasso, Marsden Hartley, Robert Motherwell, Adolph Gottlieb, Georgia O'Keefe, MIlton Avery, and many others.
This example is of 20th century construction and was carefully constructed by hand by truly gifted artisans using the finest materials. It is a flawlessly executed contemporary take on a classic Dutch Master style frame with a gilt inner liner edge. This frame would as easily house an old master as it would house an abstract modern masterwork.
While this particular frame did not house a Van Gogh, other Heydenryk frames have. Heydenryk frames are truly worthy of the art they encompass. Extraordinary art demands an equally extraordinary frame.
