This antique cassettiera (chest of drawers) from Italy features a rectangular-shaped top, over a case which houses two full-sized drawers, designed in clean, linear lines, and having recessed paneled sides. This case piece is raised upon four squared legs which gently taper towards their feet. The drawer fronts are fitted with wooden knob pull hardware. The painted finish has a nicely aged and faded patina, with coloring now being primarily a tan with muted red top and accent trim.
