Very unique item that appears to be a Japanese Nippon tankard with raised moriage and hand painted design featuring various guardians. Unsigned with an estimated date of of production of the early 20th century. The vase is approximately 11" tall, and 6" round at the base.
Very good antique condition with wear commensurate with age and use. We did not find any missing moriage. Please examine all photos closely if this is of concern. There may be some light brown staining around one of the figures. Hard to tell if it's a stain or in the glaze. Shown in the last photo. No chips or cracks. The inside floor of the base needs to be cleaned.
