The chair is a design by famous Ecuadorian designer Angel Pazmino and carries the maker's mark.

The only real wear to be noted is to the left top side of the seating, as shown in the pictures. This has been repaired by the previous owner, but we would recommend having it repaired professionally should you wish to use the chair frequently.

Angel Pazmino is considered one of the greatest Latin American designers of the 20th century and his work continues to influence designers and craftsmen worldwide. Pazmino began his career in his father's carpentry workshop at the age of 12. with the skills aquired here, he later went on to open his own furniture design and production studio, which quickly became famous for its innovative and elegant creations.

Pazmino's designs have won numerous awards and distainctions and have been exhibited in galleries and museums all around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His work is often characterized by the use of high-quality woods and by hand-carved motifs that reflect Latin American history.
