An exquisite Italian carved and gilded mirror from the 19th century. This ornate mirror features an intricately carved crest and a decor of rinceaux (foliage) in its frame. This mirror is a nice warm gold tone, with some deep red undertones throughout. This piece would look perfect above a vanity in a bathroom or perhaps adorning a hallway.
Rectangular in shape, the central glass is surrounded by a carved molding and beveled sides, giving it depth and elegance. The corners are marked with a foliage depiction, making the transition from the center panel to the outer sides of the frame.
