This lovely, rare Scandinavian coffee/tea set was designed in the 1960s by Sven Erik Skawonius for Karlskrona (Upsala Ekeby). The style is known as Karla and is handpainted with bold pink stripes (pattern 5223). This set consists of a coffee pot/teapot, creamer, sugar, 6 cups, 8 saucers and 8 small plates. What makes this set even more endearing is that it was once a wedding gift to a couple more than 40 years ago.
