Rare goldscheider art deco ceramic figure of the 1920's: posing, graceful dancer in oriental costume: short-sleeved, belly-free top, floor-length, wide skirt and headscarf playing around the expressively painted face, all pieces of clothing with the same decoration - large, stylised flowers in shades of red, pink and green - the upper body slightly tilted backwards, barefoot, performing a dance step, the left arm stretching forwards, the right backwards and holding the skirt up in a semicircle at the hem. The figure is based on a dark green, bevelled, profiled round base. Designed by josef lorenzl (1892 - 1950), was an austrian sculptor and ceramic modeler. His bronze statuettes often show graceful dancers with long legs and closed eyes. Lorenzl designed numerous ceramics for friedrich goldscheider and keramos and was one of the most popular artists of art deco. This model 5267 was created and made circa 1923. - Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
