This listing is for a rare antique woodblock print by Paul Jacoulet.
Jacoulet was a French artist that was based in Japan.
His pieces were reflective of his inspiration by traditional Japanese art.
This one is titled “Chagrin d’Amour: Kusai.”

This price comes framed, possibly in its original frame. The inside is lined with Japanese book pages. The print is mounted in a silk surround.
This piece is in overall good condition. There are some signs of normal wear and age, such as some darkening to the paper. The backing of the frame has some tears.
