A highly decorative pair of 19th Century Mason's iron stone tureens with a Japanese chinoiserie pattern, having a dome covered … Read more A highly decorative pair of 19th Century Mason's iron stone tureens with a Japanese chinoiserie pattern, having a dome covered lid with a decorative shaped handle, the shaped bowl with elegant shaped handles either end and resting on a shaped tray, the chinoiserie pattern having a combination of red, blue and white colours and depicting a typical Japanese countryside scene. Underneath both tureens they are stamped "Real Iron Stone China" Both tureens are in very good condition apart from three small chips on one of the trays. Circa 1865. See less
