Intricate, dynamic all-over embroidery in hues of warm ruby red, orange sherbet, black/navy, grey-lavender, peach and olive green. Smartly finished with a 1.5"W red cotton border. Measures 20.5"W x 5'4"L. I believe this to be Indonesian in origin. Pattern is rectilinear, with concentric diamonds, stylized bird-like creatures, scrolling borders--all harmoniously executed. Expert cotton thread embroidery on a natural cotton field. Reverse is finished in same natural cotton. Photographed at the table to provide scale & additional color context. See less
