Watercolor on board of an English landscape with a house, river and fisherman in a boat by Edward Beecham Lait (active 1850s-1880s). Signed lower right.
Inscribed on the back: "This framed hung in a hunting lodge of Prince of Wales. Bought in Hampstead - 1930." The Prince of Wales this refers to is probably King Edward VII or George V but could possibly be Edward VIII (later the Duke of Windsor).
