Exquisite large vintage Italian art pottery planter/bowl. Oval shape with tapered base; glazed in beige and terra cotta with dimensional "carving" to resemble a whipstitch woven seagrass basket. The attention to detail gives this piece a wonderful trompe-l'oeil effect.
Marked "Italy" on bottom of interior.
