Contemporary style and fluid forms make this plaster sculpture of a matador and charging bull depict energy and grace of movement. The sculpture, created by Tony Trezza, is done in relief and the light plays off the curves and angles. There is a wire attached to the back, embedded in the plaster, for hanging.
It was first done in clay and then cast in plaster. This is a heavy piece, it was displayed hanging, in the home of the artist. Artist’s signature initials are on bottom right corner. TT. It may also indicate a date, hard to read.
