The jar is still covered in most of the original pinion pitch used when making these jars many years ago to make it water tight. The weave is still very tight. The handles are intact.

This vessel is large compared to many others that I have researched.

This is an amazing piece of Native American History.

Many of these jars are in museums showcasing the ingenuity and skill that was put into making them.

This jar is in amazing condition considering that is was handmade over 100 years ago. See less
