They are the epitome of high Art Deco style and perfect for those of you who like some geometric drama in your home. The material is solid steel and they are quite substantial. They have been recently rewired with a new cloth cord and period-bakelite-style plug. Their finish has been lovingly polished to its original gleaming splendor and they literally shine like mirrors. The tubular glass shades are opaque white. These are in spectacular overall condition for being about 100 years old. The only mentionable issues are that the stepped collar below the shade fitter of one is slightly askew, so barely noticeable that it's hard to capture in the photos, and the other will move by hand. These features are strictly decorative and in no way effect the structural integrity of the lamps or distract from their magnificence. The lip of the shade fitter has a low profile, so we recommend using museum putty or some other archival adhesive for added security. They measure 75 1/2 inches tall and the bases are 7 1/4 inches long on each side. See less
