This painting is a part of her "American Zen" series. Beautiful colors of yellow, green and turquoise with a few splashes of black. Donahue (1935-2018) was born in Cambridge, MA and attended Regis College and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. Her works have been shown throughout the US and Europe with permanent collections at the Musee d'Art Moderne de la Commanderie d'Unit, Bordeaux, France and Cape Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA.
