This portrait features a finely dressed and regal looking young boy in black, the face has been captured with magic as it just has the feeling of aliveness. The blonde haired boy is executed in watercolor on a paper in a gilt frame. The painting has a label from Jabez Barnard who retailed artist supplies in London from 1800-1894

Condition: Painting is in good antique condition with some dark coloring along the right edge, frame has some wear.
