Atelier di varedo
company founded in brianza in the 1920s by gaetano borsani. In 1935, the gaetano borsani/atelier of varedo opened the arredamenti borsani shop in the heart of milan: it was here that his son osvaldo borsani created his furniture, often unique pieces, expressions of a 20th century taste lightened in volumes, and made unique by grooves and decorative carvings that enliven the surfaces of its furnishings using contrasting materials. If in the 40s the company adopted increasingly slim lines, the 50s marked the radical turning point, thanks to osvaldo's collaboration with his brother fulgenzio.
