A timeworn beauty! This textile is an antique French curtain panel. The body, the Turkey red cotton, I would date … more A timeworn beauty! This textile is an antique French curtain panel. The body, the Turkey red cotton, I would date to the very early 1800's and the border I would have dated c. 1870. My thoughts are that the border was added at a later date, but difficult to say exactly! This textile is as timeworn as they get, holes, paint, tears, faded, stains, etc etc etc! There is something just wonderful about this textile, even in the state that it's in!! The heavy hand forged rings are still intact at the top. There was NO way around hand washing this panel as it has been stored and was very very very dirty! It washed well in terms of the dirt and dust, however the body has many tears and is faded. It is really best to view the photographs to view condition closely. This panel would look amazing hung in a timeworn interior or would be ideal too for deconstruction and used for many many projects. All condition reflected in the price. ( ) less

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
