A prolific group of artisans, the Tekke boasted some of the finest weavers in the region, and were widely known for their especially refined weaving skills. Because they were responsible for weaving such a large variety of items, the rugs woven by the Tekke tribe differ in every imaginable wa, and include examples from an impressive range of sizes and shapes.
