This piece of furniture in … Read more Louis XV bookcase in rosewood veneer and light wood marquetry, decorated with gilded bronze fittings. This piece of furniture in two elements has an upper part made up of two moving glass doors decorated with gilded bronze strips towards the interior. The joint cover and the entrances are also in chiseled bronze. The lock is in perfect working order and comes with its key. The rosewood is arranged diagonally. This piece of furniture has a pediment in the shape of a policeman's hat. A two-part floral marquetry features foliage, foliage and flowers. On the uprights, large bronze fittings represent a smiling face with shell and scrolls. A large bronze trim representing a shell surrounded by foliage is positioned in relief on the molded cornice. In the lower part, this piece of furniture has two panel doors with a composition in the central part depicting musical instruments, a musical score and flowers. This marquetry is surrounded by bronze sticks. Falls are present on the uprights and the small curved feet are protected by gilded bronze shoes.
The interior of this piece of furniture is equipped with adjustable shelves on racks.
The sides are richly ornamented with light and stained wood marquetry, bronze sticks and diagonal rosewood veneer.
