Maison Jansen palm tree floor lamp. Made entirely by hand on a metal base in aged and worn gold. Square base with metal contours and black mirrored sides. Lighting points for small E14 type screw inside the palm tree crown. Exclusive French design.
It is one of the most famous lighting pieces of the 80s. Designed by Jean-Henri Jansen for Maison Jansen, a Dutchman living in Paris who created one of the first companies dedicated to luxury decoration in 1880.
Maison Jansen or House of Jansen, was an interior decoration company based in Paris founded in 1880 by the Dutchman Jean-Henri Jansen. It was located at number 23 rue de l'Annonciation, in Paris.
